FEELING HAPPY

Recently, I have been thinking about what brings me peace and happiness in my life. I am a very visual person, so making lists and vision boards are usually my way of remembering things! I feel like it is so easy to get caught up in life and look at the things we don’t have and feel unhappy but, Life is SO beautiful. Ive decided I want to live 2018 to the fullest and do all of the things that I have always wanted to do. I’m going to push myself out of my comfort zone and really just enjoy the little things in life. Here are a few things that make me happy:

VENICE, ITALY

DREAMY. I have no words for Venice except DREAMY. From the moment we arrived in Venice my heart fluttered with happiness! Everywhere we turned it looked like we were in a movie! From the cobblestone roads, to the gondola rides, everything was magical.

We went on a little dinner date to a cute family owned restaurant! We sat down to eat and of course PASTA was running through my mind. We thought we would be adventurous and order a seafood appetizer. Wellll…. the seafood appetizer actually wasn’t very good and we didn’t eat much of it. The waiter came over and saw we weren’t eating it and he was TOTALLY OFFENDED. He tried to convince us to eat it but that just wasn’t going to happen. Good news though!!! The pasta was amazing.

The next day we wandered the city and explored. First thing we explored: THE GELATO OF COURSE!!! WOW. The gelato was too good. We went on a cute and cozy gondola ride and it was as romantic and sweet as it looks. My heart felt like it could just burst in to a million pieces. Moral of the story, Go to Venice, Italy. You will not regret it.

The energy in the museum and the color in every room was so amazing! The entire experience from start to finish was so much fun! I’m sorry Disney, But I think the Museum Of Ice Cream has stolen your title as the Happiest place on earth!  If any of you are considering going there here are some tips I have to make your ice cream experience AMAZING!

  1. If you want to get some epic pictures I would highly recommend wearing blush pink! Almost every room in the museum coordinates with the color pink!
  2. Take your time in each room! The rooms are exciting and full of color! Make sure you take your time and enjoy! PLUS, you might get a sweet treat to enjoy! (;
  3. THE SPRINKLE POOL. The sprinkle pool is one of the most popular attractions in the entire museum! I would suggest being the first one in the pool and the last one out so you can make sure you get your fun picture!
  4. Wait in line for the different swings! They are worth the wait! The pictures turn out amazing!

UNDER THE SEA

DCIM100GOPROGOPR0442.JPGIMG_3878DCIM100GOPROGOPR0487.JPGMy new favorite thing: SCUBA DIVING! There is something so calming about drifting along on the ocean floor. The water is so clear, the wildlife is so beautiful and the feeling is indescribable. Dallin and I went scuba diving during our time in Bora Bora and it was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had! On our first dive we were over a beautiful coral reef when all of a sudden, a HUGE 15 foot Manta Ray glided above our heads! We went on one more dive following that one where we saw some beautiful lemon sharks! We are finally scuba certified and I couldn’t be more excited to continue diving all around the world!

THE DREAMIEST OF PLACES

IMG_3858IMG_3852IMG_3863IMG_3851IMG_3854IMG_3848

Never in my life have I ever been anywhere more breathtakingly beautiful. Everywhere I turn I am blown away by the beauty that surrounds me. It is so peaceful and calming here. Every moment I feel like I am living in a dream. This was one of those moments. Dallin and I decided to wake up early to watch the sunrise and this was the place of choice to do so. The HAMMOCK. We walked out into the glassy blue water and we we made it to this dreamy hammock. The whole thing felt surreal. If you ever have the chance, Come to Bora Bora. You won’t regret it.

HORSE SHOE BEND

One of the most breathtaking and beautiful places I have ever been and it is only a couple hours away from my home. I love adventures and I especially love road trips. I stock up on sunflower seeds, and gatorade, and a delicious candy of some sort and I just roll down the windows and drive. Okay, I don’t drive…my husband drives. I enjoy the view! But being the passenger in the car is just as much work as it is to drive on a road trip! I have to navigate, and open all the snacks, and make sure my playlist is FIRE. hahah okay maybe its not that hard. Whatever. Anyways,When we got to Horse Shoe Bend we spent a while just sitting there and enjoying the view. Its so amazing to see Gods creations. If you ever have the chance, take a trip to Horse Shoe Bend. You won’t regret it.

NO MORE COMPARING.

I want to be transparent and real. Life isn’t always easy. I feel like it is so easy to compare yourself to others and I used to find myself doing that very often. I would scroll through Instagram and with every picture I would find myself feeling worse and worse about myself. “why don’t I have her body, wow! She looks like she’s always happy, she has the perfect life” I was letting every picture determine my self-worth and I realized that I was literally letting Instagram pictures rule my life! UNTIL, I heard this amazing quote: “Don’t compare your behind the scenes to everyone else’s highlight reel” That quote couldn’t be more true! It is so easy to be wrapped up and consumed with the comparison of everyone’s photos online! But, you have a choice. You can choose to be miserable and constantly look at the things you don’t have, Or you can decide to be happy and confident and strong. Find your talents! Use them!  I have chosen that I am not going to let simple pictures determine how I feel about myself. I am not going to compare myself to others, and I am going to be strong and confident and happy with my life because life is just way too short to let little things get to you! The day I chose to do that I felt so much relief! I didn’t have to compare anymore! I can spread my light with others and just be ME! So just remember to enjoy every moment, Be happy, You are beautiful and uniquely you! YOU’VE GOT THIS!

FLYING HIGH IN THE SKY.

OK. I am afraid of heights. BUT, Life is so short. I have decided I want to live my life to the fullest and make the most of every minute I am given. Dallin surprised me with a hot air balloon ride because it is something I have ALWAYS wanted to do but I was always too afraid to do it. I feel like a lot of times, people don’t do something because they are too afraid and they are fearful. Maybe you won’t go after your dreams because you feel like you’re not good enough, you might feel like your dream is unattainable, or maybe you’re scared of failing. All I have to say to that is STOP IT! Start living out your dreams. Believe in yourself. If you never try, you will never succeed. I never want to live my life wondering what would have happened if I would’ve taken that chance! So, Here I am. A girl that’s afraid of heights, on a hot air balloon loving EVERY SECOND of it because the best happiest moments of my life have come after fear.Processed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 presetProcessed with VSCO with c5 preset

THE HAUNTING IN SAN FRANSISCO.

San Fransisco was a trip I will never forget. From biking across the Golden Gate Bridge, to driving a mini car around the city, the memories we made in just 48 hours were PRICELESS. It all started when we arrived at our hotel. We entered the hotel and there was a really weird vibe. It was very dark and heavy. When we went to the check- in desk no one was there to greet us and no one was even in the lobby. It was empty. The entire hotel had a very dark renaissance look and it smelt really old…like the smell of an old book store. Finally a man came to the counter and told us he already had us checked in! It was almost like he was waiting for us to arrive. He pointed us in the direction of our room and we looked at each other and just laughed because we felt like we were being pranked. NO ONE was in the hotel? We couldn’t be the only ones right? We took the staircase to our room…YES I SAID STAIRCASE. When we got upstairs there was a long hallway we walked down to get to our room. Weirdly enough, some of the rooms had wooden boards hammered over the doors. We entered our room and it looked like something out of a horror film. I was terrified. I couldn’t believe this was even happening! I looked at Dallin and told him we definitely couldn’t stay here. He quickly found us another hotel and we literally RAN out the doors as fast as we could and drove away!

The rest of our trip was incredible. We were only there for a short time so we wanted to make the most of it. It was such an adventure. It ended with us taking an Uber to the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge to find a small cove on the beach where we found a little rope swing. It was magical. San Fran will always have a little piece of my heart. I can’t wait to go back and make more memories!

OUR CARNIVAL WEDDING.

MARCH FOURTH 2017.

The happiest day of my entire life. The day that I married my best friend. Our wedding day was a dream. Ever since I was a little girl it was my dream to have a carnival themed wedding. I always joked about having a Ferris Wheel and rides as the main attraction at my wedding. I never really thought it would be possible for it to become a reality though! I remember waking up (after not being able to sleep all night) with butterflies in my stomach. I was so excited and so nervous! I couldn’t believe the day was actually here! My bridesmaids came to my house and everyone started getting ready and it still hadn’t hit me yet that I WAS GETTING MARRIED in a few short hours. I got my makeup done and then shortly after I was off to the temple to be sealed to my love for time and all eternity! After we were sealed, we walked out of the temple and I felt a rush of so many emotions I had never felt before. Our friends and family greeted us and at that point it still didn’t feel real. I didn’t believe I was a Mrs.

The first thing we did as a married couple was drive to Circle K and grabbed some drinks! (yes, I was there in my wedding dress) Then, we were off to our reception! The night was perfect. There was a Ferris Wheel, swings, the hammer, cotton candy, vintage sodas…all the things I had dreamed about for so long. The night was a blur and it went by so fast, but the one thing I will never forget is how amazing it was to be surrounded by our friends and family! I loved celebrating with everyone! We danced our little hearts out, and rode the Ferris Wheel and swings till we were sick and it was a BLAST. I sang a song I wrote to Dallin for the wedding and I got to see him cry for the first time EVER so that was crazy! Overall, the day was amazing. I am so grateful that I found someone so perfect and so kind and so loving. I don’t know how I lucked out so much but I am so glad Dallin is mine. I am so excited to be Mrs. Lambert and I can’t wait to MARCH FOURTH and cherish Dallin for the rest of forever.
